South Coast: Raynham Family Command Center Gets a Reboot
You know how crazy the morning routine can be if you have kids. Homework? Lunch? Snack? Water bottle? Notes for the teacher? Parent pick-up notes? School projects? Library books? Gym clothes? It's enough to make you want to turn off the alarm and go on a six-week vacation.
Our client, a busy parent to four children under the age of 12, was precisely in that situation. The once organized command center had seen better days and needed an expert's touch to get this family back to being organized and the morning routine less stressful.
Organizers Sarah and Summer worked with the client to help them edit the space and rethink its use. Instead of being a dumping ground, it could work to suit the family's needs more efficiently. If all the daily items the children use have permanent homes, staying organized is much more effortless.
Team Peace also organized the coat closets at the house's entrance to make getting ready in the morning lightning fast. Larger bins were used for the shoes, and pairs were stored vertically, so you don't have to rummage through the bin to find the matching shoe. Major time saver!
